What you'll see

Your AI footprint, in one popup.

Most people are surprised by the count. The typical 50-person company runs 27 AI tools. You won't know yours until you look.

Every AI tool you touch

The scanner lists each AI tool you open in the browser, the day it shows up. Personal logins included.

Estimated monthly and annual spend

An estimate of what those tools cost, per month and per year, from typical published prices. It is an estimate, not your invoice.

Shadow-AI risk

It flags the tools that tend to handle high-risk data and the ones running on personal accounts your team never approved.

Runs on your device

Every count is computed in your browser. Close the tab and it is gone. Clear the data anytime from the popup.

Privacy, in plain terms

It reads the tab address. That is the whole story.

We build security software. We hold our own tools to the bar we ask of everyone else. So here is exactly what this one does, and what it never does.

The scanner runs entirely on your device. It reads the address of the tab you are on to recognize AI tools, and nothing else. It does not read page content. It does not read your prompts. It does not read your keystrokes. Nothing leaves your device unless you click send.

When you do click send, we receive your email plus a coarse summary: the number of tools, a spend band, and the count of high-risk tools. We never receive the list of tools, the sites you visited, or anything you typed.

  • Runs entirely on your device

Counts and estimates are computed in your browser.

  • Reads the tab address only

Enough to recognize an AI tool. No page content, ever.

  • Sends only when you click send

Your email plus a coarse summary: tool count, spend band, high-risk count.

  • Never reads your prompts or keystrokes

What you type stays on your device. We never see it.

  • Never sends your browsing history

The sites you visit and the tool list never leave your device.

From one laptop to the whole company

This scan sees your browser. Northbeams sees everywhere.

The free scanner is one laptop, one browser. Across a team the real number is bigger, and so is the exposure. Northbeams is the AI System of Record. One platform. Two products. Browser, desktop, CLI, MCP. You see every team's AI tools, what they cost, and where the risk sits, in one place.
