Clear your daily decisions

Last updated 2026-07-13

Most of what Northbeams sees, it handles on its own. Open Govern, then Decisions for the Decision queue: the small number of AI proposals that need a human: which newly-seen or risky tools to allow, warn on, or block, plus drafted evidence and policy changes awaiting sign-off.

The Decision queue under Govern: each proposal is cited and reversible, with Approve, Edit, and Dismiss on every card.

How it works

  • Each item is cited. You see why it was proposed (for example, "24 users, personal accounts, no DPA on file"), a confidence score, and the sources it is based on.
  • Approve, Edit, or Dismiss. Approve the recommendation, edit it first, or dismiss it. Approving updates your policies so the same thing is handled automatically next time. Nothing changes until you decide.
  • Decide from Slack. If you connect Slack, the same approve and dismiss buttons show up in your channel, so you can clear decisions without opening the dashboard.

The goal is a short daily list, not a firehose. Northbeams does the triage; you make the judgment calls.
